Our Bedroom

Our bedroom is definitely a work in progress, but currently we both are enjoying the decor. 

The bed was build by my father when I was a junior in high school. 

I made the burlap curtains when I first moved in. 

I have also had the dresser since high school, and used accessories from around the house and from our wedding. I made the burlap runner and added some lace. You can find the tutorial here. 

I love these frames that my aunt gave me one Christmas. They are Pottery Barn, and I simply dressed them with scrapbook paper and then linen paper that I printed our initials on. 

I decided to do a little sprucing up and bought some new bedding and a lamp. I incorporated my new bedding with my old to get this look:

I would like to paint the trim this summer to brighten it up a bit, and add a little interest to the bathroom wall.
