Weekend Highlights

This weekend has been lazy amidst all the things that we need to do.

Sometimes you need that.

It is the calm before you have to kick it in high gear and finish up those projects!

Friday, we went to Birmingham to pick up the counter tops and kitchen jewelry.

I am in love with the glass knobs and cannot wait to show you!

I will have to wait because we ordered the wrong hinges, so it is back to having open cabinets.

It's a hard DIY life.

The counter tops are going to be gorgeous, and I am really excited.

I definitely see the light, but there will be a lot of elbow grease before we get there.

We ate at Chuys, due to hearing BooMama talk about it so much.

It was different, but I liked it. I don't think Ken was a big fan, though.

You win some, and you loose some.

I was highly impressed with the Summit, and can't wait to go exploring!

I may or may not have went a little crazy in the Home Goods store. Its my motivation or reward for spring cleaning, whichever I need first. I will share more on this later this week.

Saturday, was definitely laid back but I felt I got a lot accomplished. I have the feeling of what do I need to do next, and couldn't think of anything. Gasp, I know. I am sure I will figure something out.

I expect Sunday to be the same.

We are both off tomorrow, so I hope this includes a little time together and watching my favorite 4th hour Today Show.
