On a trip to Mississippi a few months ago, my mother made Ken's favorite lunch - Salmon patties. I don't like them at all, so I am glad whenever Ken gets to eat them.
She then snuck this piece of furniture into our car for me to take home.
Ken told her that the next time she made salmon patties, he would be the only owner of the key to the car.
I love how this small chest can pack a lot of punch when it comes to storing my sewing notions.
I also love how it contained some colorful thread on wooden spools. My great grandmother, Sallye Ball, kept everything, and I am so glad that she did.
Ken has learned to like it because:
1. It is small
2. It has helped me organize my sewing stuff
3. I have proudly told him there is an empty drawer in the laundry room, and he had just a small amount of time to grab it or that it would be occuppied again.
He has waited too long, and now I am the proud owner of the not-so-empty-drawer in the laundry room.
Oh Happy Day!
What a beautiful piece! Watch the south reporter this week!
