Weekend Highlights ...

This weekend I got ready for some sweet company

Tootsie was the door greeter.
and had to ask myself ...

What do you have when you get 2 boats, 2 tubes, 7 people, and a Mexican Fiesta?

A weekend full of fun memories that hopefully will last a lifetime!

Going tubing on Guntersville Lake brings out the best and worst in facial expressions.

There is no need to get all dolled up just to have it run down your face as you are going through the water.

The following moments prove my point.

You begin by riding the waves ...

Then comes lots of splashing ...

Then you switch partners and smile before take off

At times, you are don't have that much to do so you think of something to do on your own before proceeding to

Death Grips

Some times you go airborne, and like it.

or round curves and hold on for dear life

Other times you are say, "Look mom, no hands!"

or you kick your husband off

only to realize that you have no idea where your husband went.

Only to have him jump back on the white steed and throw his arm around you so you will be secure and become your knight and shining armour.

Then the young at heart shows the young how it is done.

Apparently, he listens to Kiss and wanted to prove it

before seeing a premonition.

and then watched it really happen.

After all that tubing we scrambled to the shade

because tubing is fun to the point of collapsing.

You know that you were successful when you can't move your arms the next day.

After tubing and enjoying some Vitamin D, we came home to even more family and friends for a Mexican Fiesta.

Now, as a barefoot hostess, I forgot to take pictures of the craziness, but I assure you it was wonderful!

I have always wanted to have a Mexican Fiesta so that people can mix and create their own favorite Mexican food.

We had taco meat and chicken fajitas, along with fresh guacamole, salsa, cheese dip, and a toppings bar.

I can't help but wonder why the bottom of the ice cream cylinder was empty when the homemade ice cream with fresh peaches did not seem like a hit at all.

One of my favorite things after a weekend full of fun, is cleaning up and remembering that our home was full of laughter and memory making moments.

But my favorite thing after a weekend full of fun, is napping, with a smile on my face.

Memory making can be exhausting.
