For the birds ...

I have noticed more birds this year than normal. I don't know if they have always been there, and I never noticed, or there are more. 

My friend, Lea Ann made one of these, and I have always wanted one for my very own. 

I stared out with a spindle that I found in my Daddy's barn last year ...

and spray painted it turquoise. 

I then used some dishes that I had

and glued them together. 

I let it sit for a couple of hours before 

I glued everything together and put it in a pot with some plants around it to dry. 

After it dried, I found a more permanent place in my "catch all" flower bed ...

it seems to catch everything from grass to zinnia and lavender to strawberries ...

With a little bird seed and water, instant restaurant for the birds!
