Engagement and Wedding and Everything in Between!

We got engaged on January 31, 2009! We went to BoneFish Grill for a nice dinner and then back to my house. We both had colds, so I was getting tissue. Ken was just watching me with this huge smile on his face! I went over to hug him, and he said, "Your heart is racing! Is it because of this?" He pulls out the ring, asked me to marry him, and I said yes!

Engagement Pictures taken by my sister, Brook. She did a great job, and we never minded modeling for her!

We painted some rooms in Ken’s house. I came one weekend and was welcomed by this!

Celebrated Easter

Very blessed with showers given by friends and family! It was so nice to see family and friends! We were very very blessed!

Wedding Weekend!

Got our nails did before the wedding!

REHEARSAL!

We had a wonderful rehearsal dinner. Ken’s mom and aunt did a wonderful job on the decorating the hall. The food was absolutely scrumptious! We were even surprised with “This is Your Life according to Panties” line and Ken received some interesting gifts from the wedding party! Such wonderful friends!

GOING TO THE CHAPEL … It was such a beautiful and wonderful day! We had so much fun though! I loved that my sisters and I rode to the church together! It was so special! My groom was so handsome! Bless his heart, I made him wait 45 minutes! He expected it though! Seeing me for the first time! So sweet!
The Wedding was so wonderful! We did not want traditional music. We wanted music to celebrate the happy occasion. Unforgettable – Nat King Cole, Today I Met the Boy I’m Going to Marry (seating of mothers), Make You Feel My Love by Adele for entrance of the bridal party, At Last – Etta James for my processional, slide show during the lighting of the unity candle, and All You Need is Love by the Beatles as they announced Mr. and Mrs. Ken Daniels! My Aunt Robin and her friend sang and played the piano. We were married by Dr. Ken Cooper and Bro. Terry “Fudd” Floyd. The ceremony was very beautiful! The flowers were gorgeous! We had a large crowd of family and friends!

RECEPTION

Our reception was HOT! It was one of the hottest days of the summer! We had so much fun! The food was delicious again! Connie Walker did the food and I cannot praise her enough! We had a receiving line. We wanted our guest to know that we really appreciated them coming! We also had a DJ and dance floor. My father built two arbors for the backyard that were beautiful! He built them about 2 weeks after we got engaged. I think he was ready to get one of his three girls married!!! We used them as entrances to the tents! Ken and I danced to “I Thought I Loved You Then” by Brad Paisley. Daddy and I danced to “Playing Cinderella.” The music was wonderful! We had so many people help us to have the best wedding! I could not have done it without them, especially Brenda Dean! It was so hot that afternoon that the cokes were exploding in the coolers! Everything was so beautful! I loved the tents! My lovely bridesmaids had the DJ play “Apple Bottom Jeans” as we ran to the car to begin our honeymoon at the Peabody and our cruise to Mexico.
