Although my blog got a overhaul, my house is still in the works! I had company from Wednesday to Saturday afternoon, and I loved every minute that we shared! From my parents visiting to spending New Years with some of my favorite people, everything was wonderful. There is nothing better than eating delicious food off Christmas china and drinking out of dixie cups and then playing riveting rounds of Catch Phrase until 1:00 a.m. We also went to Dirt Cheap about three times and got some really good bargains.
Ken was a champ! From running to the grocery store, washing clothes to making beds, I could not have opened our home to others without him!
I can hardly believe that it is 2011! Eleven just happens to be a very lucky number of mine, so am looking forward to what this year has to offer! I do not believe in resolutions, but rather goals for the year. I want to challenge myself with new things. These challenges include:

I can hardly believe that it is 2011! Eleven just happens to be a very lucky number of mine, so am looking forward to what this year has to offer! I do not believe in resolutions, but rather goals for the year. I want to challenge myself with new things. These challenges include:
- Have theme nights or date nights at home with Ken. Just enjoy our time together.
- Love on Tootsie and play more rounds of ball.
- Spend a little more time worshiping and listening to what God has in store for me.
- Be more involved in church.
- Look for the brighter side of things.
- Learn to create my own blog backgrounds. :)
- Learn to operate my camera.
- Read more books.
- Try more sewing projects.
- Learn to relax more.
- Let people know how much I appreciate them.
- Be healthy and make healthy choices
- Be better about seeing friends. I tend to be a homebody.
- Just enjoy life the way that it should be in both the trials and successes.
I also look forward to the many celebrations that are already planned for 2011 - babies, marriages, and most important - planning and planting my garden among other things!
What are your goals for the New Year?
You'll have to read my first post of 2011. I make "promises" to myself! Happy twenty eleven, Haven!!
