Prepping for the Kitchen ... Part 2

When you are remodeling or updating an older home, it seems like you are constantly on a scavenger hunt for something. 

Apparently, back in the seventies, people preferred paneling in the kitchen because it was "nice." They also preferred to hang their kitchen lights from the wall. 

I prefer to hang my over-the-sink-light from the ceiling, but in order to do that, we had to do some "Tawandaing" to our walls! 



Removing the cabinet after much debate ...

Who cares if there is a hole in our wall where we will rehang the cabinet?


Finding the needed wire from the bottom ...


Love the Dremmel! 


All we needed was the one power cord so we could be in business. It was hanging in the wall all along just waiting for someone to find it. 

Someone did and was very pleased! 


And I am very pleased with this beauty!
