When Ken and I first got married, I would often play the game,"Notice anything different?" when I would change up something in the house. Here is how it went:
Haven: "Notice Anything Different?"
Ken: "No, not really."
Haven: "Do you remember what this look like before?"
Ken: "No, not really, but I love what you done!"
Haven: "Notice Anything Different?"
Ken: "No, not really."
Haven: "Do you remember what this look like before?"
Ken: "No, not really, but I love what you done!"
Men are wired so differently, but that is okay. Now, it was easier for me to say, "Let me show you what I did today."
However, I really enjoyed playing this game, so I want to play with you!
"Notice anything different in this picture?"
Something with the chairs?
Yes!
I made this monogram with my cricut, freezer paper, and fabric paint.
And today, I am going to give you some what of a tutorial. I say some what, because my excitement about this project got ahead of my camera!
So here it goes:
I made my design using Sure Cuts A Lot and then put the shiny side of the freezer paper on the cutting mat to cut with the Cricut.
Went ahead and picked the scrolls out of the freezer paper. I left the "D" in there for the time being because of the holes.
Putting cardboard under the slipcovers, I ironed on the freezer paper (shiny side down for about 5-10 seconds), and picked out the holes of the "D."
I combined brown and black fabric paint to get a deep chocolate brown
I let it dry for about 5 minutes (excitement gets the best of me!) and took off the remainder of the freezer paper to get this ...
and I'm in love!
This little area is coming together!
I will be sharing another part of this room later on this week! So excited!
Very pretty, Haven! Love that room!
