Showers of Blessings for a Bride!

Well, after my post yesterday, I am sure that you knew I was tired. I put periods instead of commas. It was a Monday, people!

So ...

My sweet grandmother, mother, Middle sister, and I hosted a bridal shower for our cousin, Amber. We had a fabulous time planning and giving this shower!

Her colors are not blush and bashful but rather a gorgeous brown and green! We decided to let nature take its course with this brunch ...

Door hanger with tattered flowers

Middle sister painted this piece with the couples' initials

Delicious Menu that included:
Fruit and Fruit Dip
Pigs in a Blanket
Sausage Muffins
Scalloped Pineapple
Cheese Cubes and Crackers

Wonderful cakes:
Strawberry Swirl Pound Cake (From the March issue of Southern Living)
Poppyseed Cake
Hunny Bunn Cake

Lea Ann made the "Clay" tile.

We had people write pieces of marriage advice and hang them on the branches.

Blessings to begin a new journey!

The Bride and her hostess ...

I also made these pillows for Amber:

Everyone had a wonderful time and everything was great! Here's to just shy of a month before walking down the aisle. Congratulations, Amber!
