I hope that you are able to not stress, but relax this week as we celebrate our wonderful Saviour, spend time with our families, and stuff ourselves with good food knowing that we will start our diets on Jan 2! I found the "Christmas" letters at Hobby Lobby back in November, and had Ken make the "Merry" letters for me out of wood. I decided to take myself back to kindergarten and play with glue and glitter. I got it on myself, the floor, the dog, everywhere. Sometimes I wonder if I don't need to change my blog name to "I Craft Like a Three Year Old." I am almost positive that there are some three year olds that may be insulted by this because they do not get glitter everywhere and always stay inside the lines when coloring.
The essential work space - box of Christmas cards, Bubba Keg of water, fake snow for looks, spray glue (oh how I love thee!) and of course - GLITTER!
Since my "Christmas" had twine, I added some jute twine on my "Merry" letters so that I could hang them.
I put them on my wonderful
"W" piece! I love the way it looks. It reminds me of some old fashion Christmas letters.
I hope you have a very Merry Christmas! May your week be full of joy, laughter, family, friends, food, and no stress!
Such a pretty way to add that festive sparkle...Love the letters!! Thank you for your sweet comment! I'm a new follower :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by and leaving me some bloggy love with your comment. The scrubs were super easy to make, don't know why I never thought of it before. Love your glittered Merry Christmas. It's very glam. Oh an I thought your bib necklace was really cute. I love the black and gray combo. It would be awesome to wear this holiday. (my husband likes to edit my blog too :) )
