Easter 2010

Here are some pictures from Easter. I think that I am probably the last to post this. I just got them in the mail from my sister Brook. She is the photographer in the family! The really good pictures are with her camera. I am hoping she will get a new one and let me play with her old one. Hint. Hint.

Mama had Brook and I dye Easter Eggs and we had the best time.

We also had ducks. Yes, my parents bought ducks for the great nieces and nephews. Only the nephews got them. The parents of the nieces did not want to take them home. I don't blame them. I can't tell you how many times I heard "Just wait to you have children." My reply is always, "What happens in Mississippi, stays in Mississippi." By buying ducks for other people's children, my parents are just setting us up for future ducks, chickens, rabbits, etc not only from them but from the people they bought them for this year. I hate that I will have to leave with our children crying because their Easter animals will have to stay in Mississippi. This is a warning for anyone in Mississippi that is even thinking about this. Ha!

Do you think he is scared?

I made Reese Peanut Butter Egg gifts ...

Here are some family pictures. My sister used her mad photography skills to capture this quick photos before the rest of the family arrived for Easter Dinner.

Daddy and his Girls: Hale's Angels (we would always say on our Christmas cards, "Merry Christmas from Hale's Angels!)

Our Family

Out of all the pictures, this is my favorite. I love how Alana is saying something. Ken and I are giving her "The Look." Brook is trying to get her camera to do right. Mama and Daddy have that "Hurry up, the rest of the family will be here any minute, and we still have things to do," face. I wish we got a picture a few minutes later when Alana announced that she still needed to vacuum the living room. My family: Priceless!!!
