Easy as Pie

I love these pies! They are so easy to make and so good!

Hershey Bar Pie:
(Come to the Table - Hernando United Methodist Church) Anne made this for my bday once! So delicious! (You also need to have a bar or two to munch on while you are cooking!)

* 6 Hershey bars
* 1 graham cracker pie shell
* 1 8oz Cool Whip

Break Hershey bars into small pieces.

Melt in saucepan over low heat, stirring until melted. Remove from heat.

Stir in the tub of Cool Whip.

Mix until thoroughly blended. It should look like a chocolate mousse.

Pour into pie crust. Freeze overnight. Yum-O!

Lemon Ice Box Pie:
(Made and shared by my fabulous Mama Betty)

* 1 graham cracker pie shell
* 1 can sweet condensed milk (fat free works too!)
* 1 8 oz Cool Whip

* 1/2 - 1 cup lemon juice (according to taste - I only do 1/2 cup)

Mix sweet condensed milk, cool whip, and lemon juice together and pour into the graham cracker pie shell.
Freeze overnight. So easy and so good!

Apple Dumplings

* 1 can crescent rolls
* 1 apple cut into 8 wedges
* 1 cup juice of your choice (I use orange juice)
* 3/4 c. sugar (1/2 cup later on combined with cinnamon)
* 1/2 stick of butter

In a pan, boil together juice, sugar, and butter.

On a small plate, combine 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon.
Separate crescent rolls into 8 crescents.

Dip each crescent in the sugar cinnamon mixture.

Dip one apple wedge in sugar cinnamon mixture before rolling into crescents.

Put in a greased 8x8 pan.

Pour juice, sugar, butter mixture over rolls.
Bake at 325 degrees for 30 minutes.
