I having been thinking about this door hanger for a while now
I just collected twigs, spray painted them white, and tied them together with jute.
painted a frame green, added a jute-wrapped letter, and some ribbon
to create a Spring door hanger.
Speaking of Spring, here is what is currently blooming at our house ...
Joy, from the Confessions of the Southern Socialite, shared a post on her gerber daisies. Thanks, Joy!
And I am almost ashamed to call myself a southern girl to have azaleas that look at straggly as these ...
I think that it is the soil. Maybe I need some good ole Mississippi soil to help these beauties, otherwise, I have no idea what to do about it.
Thankfully, I do have one that looks great. This one came with the house.
We also found this is one of my hanging baskets ...
and I will be ready to plant some of these babies later on ...
Squash and tomatoes
Happy Friday!
Tomorrow, I will be helping to host this shower with my family. Can't wait to show you pictures next week.
Are you growing tulips??? That is one thing I have never tried to grow. Yours look beautiful. However, I have weird azaleas.... they bloom late May and June! My mom said she has never seen azaleas bloom so late. And I have no clue what kind they are because that is the only thing I kept in the flower beds when I bought the house. But it may be that your azaleas just need some good ole Mississippi clay. lol Because you know that is all we have in Mississippi! =)
