I have seen stenciling everywhere. It is not that country stenciling that I saw as a child, but a more sophistocated stenciling. I decided to try it out. Wanting to make my own stencil, but not knowing how to really get started, I went to Hobby Lobby and got a small stencil. I used the paint from the trim in the laundry room and went at it. It is not perfect, but not so bad for my first time. It only took me about 1 hour and 45 minutes.
I consider this my craft room or "My little room" as I always tell Ken. This is another room in my house that I just like to go and sit in. I needed some inspiration. I like it, but will probably eventually repaint the background orange and then stencil in white or mix it up a little. Will just have to wait and see!
